Over 70% the population suffer from a yeast infection, and they don't even know it. This raises the question, does yeast infection cause physical symptoms if untreated? With so many people suffering from it, there has to be some sort of problem that arises.

Though it isn't fatal, a yeast infection does cause physical symptoms if untreated. These symptoms vary from one person to the next, however, there are common ones that most people suffer from. Here are just a few of the normal ones most people experience.

Many people suffer from headaches or migraines, memory problems or the inability to focus, as well as mood swings. Many people also experience aching hands, knees, hips, and other joint pain. Depression, lowered self esteem, and other emotional issues also arise. Skin lesions or redness of the skin are more problems people experience. Sexual discomfort or the inability to perform are more effects that people often times experience.

These are just a few of the things that people experience. So does yeast infection cause physical symptoms if untreated? The answer is absolutely yes. You may also experience fatigue or tiredness as well.

The only real solution to completely fix the infection is to fix your diet. A diet of at least 60% vegetables high in fiber and low in starch is a great start. Also cut out as much sugar as possible if not completely. Carbohydrates such as breads and pastas also need to go if you wish to fix the problem.
