Is It Okay To Wear Tampons When You Have A Yeast Infection?

Many women want to know, is it okay to wear tampons when you have a yeast infection? This is one of the biggest questions, right after questions associated with intercourse and conception.

Is it okay to wear tampons when you have a yeast infection? The answer is yes, it is okay to wear tampons when you have a yeast infection. This won't cause any problems. It can be a little messier than normal as women often times experience an extra discharge from the infection itself, however, there is no scientific evidence that it is a problem. It's not like your going to have to worry about the infection as you already have it.

Some home remedies that work to help cure the infection with tampons may be of interest to you. One is to go to the store and buy some yogurt. This has to be the pure yogurt, not the sugary yogurt that so many people prefer. Coat the tampon in this yogurt and wear it for a few hours. I know this may sound a little nasty, however, it works very well to cure the problem.

The reason this is true is due to the natural enzymes in the yogurt. These enzymes break up and turn into pure oxygen. This oxygen suffocates the infection and helps dry it up and cure it.

Another solution is to watch your diet. A diet of at least 60% vegetables high in fiber and low in starch is a must. You will also want to cut out as much, if not all of your sugar intake as this feeds the fungus. Carbohydrates such as breads and pastas are also bad foods to eat as they are turned into sugar in your body.
