Candida is a fungus that occurs naturally in our body and it is possible for it to get it anywhere, including a candida infection of the rectum. Candida is an imbalance between the yeast and micro organism's in your body. It can happen to anyone who, but some of the causes and symptoms of a candida infection of the rectum are as follows.

Some causes of a candida infection of the rectum are simple. Many people who take antibiotics for some type of infection, or steroids may experience a candida infection of the rectum, or other parts of their body. Other causes of candida infection of the rectum can be a diet. A diet that is high in sugar and acidic foods can cause a candida infection. Candida thrives on sugar and yeast, both of which are in alcohol and other foods that we normally take into our body.

Some symptoms of a candida infection of the rectum or other areas of the body are an abnormal odor. A white milky discharge. Muscle aches. Pain in the hands, joints, knees, and hips. Hypoglycemia. Depression. Lowered self esteem. Urinary disorders. Red skin. Skin lesions. And learning or memory problems.

These are just a few of the common symptoms of a candida infection of the rectum or other areas of the body and are not a complete list. Other symptoms to look for may be painful sexual experiences, or the inability to perform sexually like before. Fatigue and tiredness are also symptoms of a candida infection of the rectum.
